Aldi's is a no-frills grocery store with good quality store brand items and some name brand items, as well as fresh produce, dairy, refrigerated and frozen foods.  Bring your own shopping bags (or buy Aldi's bags at 6 or 10 cents each), and bring a quarter to "rent" a shopping cart.  Aldi's keeps costs down and passes the savings along to shoppers with everyday low prices.  If you forget to bring bags, stores usually have empty cardboard boxes that they are happy to let you take at no cost.
